Review :
I liked "The Sisters Club" because the sisters made their own club. The sisters’ names are: Alex, the oldest, Joey the youngest, and Stevie, the middle sister. Joey's nickname is Duck.  It sounds weird, but Joey likes when Alex and Stevie call her that.  Alex, Stevie, and Joey call their club "The Sisters Club". They talk about what they did in school, and they do homework together. I thought that "The Sisters Club" was the best book ever!!

Review :
Jerry and his sister Terri were staying with relatives for the summer.  They met three kids who were distant cousins and had fun playing with them.  Strange things happened, and the cousins turned out to be ghosts.  This book was scary at times, but it is make believe, so I was ok.  I liked the suspense of wondering what was going to happen next.  In the end the cousins ghosts were trapped in a cave and Jerry and Terry couldn't wait to go back home.

Review :
I thought the book was a little over good. I thought it was good when Franny got smashed by a two headed robot. She made it with some of help from Phil because he put stamps on the robot’s eyes so he couldn't see where Franny was and so he didn't keep smashing her! Plus, Lawrence helped when he clashed the heads together because he knows how to play accordion. There also was help from Erin and she broke the robot into tiny pieces with her experience from Irish Dancing.

Marley: A Dog Like No Other

John Grogan
Genre :
Non-Fiction
Your Initials (DO NOT include your full name) :

Review :
When John and Jenny get a new dog they name it Marley after Bob Marley who is a famous singer. Marley is a Labrador retriever pup who is very destructive. When Marley was left home alone in the garage he ate almost everything. He even ate the drywall! Marley is such a bad dog; he even gets kicked out of obedience school! When John and Jenny had kids Marley kept them up by barking during the kids nap time. Marley is also so scared at night he has to sleep on John and Jenny's bed. Will Marley ever learn to be a good dog? Not really. In the end Marley had to be put to sleep because he had bad arthritis in his right leg. I cried when I read this. Marley could never be replaced by any other dog. He will never be forgotten by the Grogan family.

This book is about Freddy, who was invited to a Halloween party. But he is afraid of the monster costumes and the haunted house. So every year, he dresses up as a shark. This year, he thought that he would be a hammerhead shark. Before the big party he lost his lucky shark's tooth, but he found it in his jeans. When he arrived at the party, they went through the Haunted House.  He wasn't scared until a bat flew on his shoulder then he was scared. Then one of his bullies challenged him to a contest where you have to put your head in the water and have to get all the apples you can get in two minutes. Freddy won, and all of his friends were happy for him. All the kids heard a noise then Freddy and the bully went down to the basement and it was just a kitten that belonged to the girl who was having the party.
