· This class is designed to take the learning of engineering concepts and principles to the next level. Through the use of technical drawing and 3-D computer modeling, students will design, draw, and produce solutions to challenges and problems to communicate design intent. All students can benefit from this class. However, if you are considering a career in one of the following fields, you should take this class.

7535 TECHNICAL DESIGN II (Formerly Principles of Engineering)
Grades 11 and 12 ONLY
40 Weeks Credit 1.0
Prerequisite: Technical Design I
· This course builds on the Design, Drawing, Production, and Engineering classes that are the prerequisites for this class. The goal of this course is to provide an advanced experience in various aspects of engineering for 11th and 12th grade students. The course is taught in an engineering laboratory setting providing access to computers, advanced modeling software, fabrication equipment, and various materials. Students will model activities of actual engineers through individual, small group, and large group projects, while using advanced mathematical and scientific theories. Principles of Engineering is designed to provide students with a challenging hands-on-experience.
